本设计主要阐述了单螺杆空气压缩机的工作原理与工作过程。并详细阐述了其控制系统的设计方法及控制原理，采用了目前世界上较为先进的可编程控制器?――三菱FX2N-64MS，实现空压机无人留守的自动化控制。该PLC具有体积小、一体封装、工控能力强、可扩展等一系列优点完全可以满足生产的需要。设计中为了满足可靠性的要求，特别设立了声光自动报警系统，及BCD码故障指示装置实现了双重保护，工作更加的安全可靠。在其相序、缺相保护电路中引进了功能强大的相检芯片TC783A，该芯片工作可靠，可承受9―15V的电压，耐压范围广，是目前较为理想的相序、缺相检测电路用芯片。
