　　不要让相机变猎枪 (用正确的方法保护野生动物)
　　一张反映鄱阳湖生态环境改善，候鸟回来的照片，画面中千百只鸟在飞腾;一段记录野生动物生活的电视片，画面上有动感十足的奔跑场景&&然而这些人们常见的镜头却遭到了环保工作者的谴责。 &过去看电视里野生动物奔跑的镜头，很激动，后来才知道这实际上是向野生动物的挑战。&中国民族画报社主任记者成卫东说，一些人为了获得动物奔跑的镜头，开车追赶野生动物，有的野生动物被活活累死，没被累死的，往往也会受到伤害，不敢再亲近人类。成卫东曾多次到青海，亲眼看到大群的藏羚羊。&任何人看到都会有拍照的冲动，但你千万不能追，如果追，不知会有多少小藏羚羊死在母腹中，从这一点说，有的摄影者比盗猎者危害更大!& 野生动物是人类共同的朋友，记录它们是为了让更多的人来保护它们。当我们举起手中的相机，请不要让相机变成猎枪，去伤害镜头中的野生动物。
　　小心植物&报复& (植物与人)
　　英国生物学家迈森就遇到过植物的&报复&。屋里有一株榕树，他每天精心照料，一连好几年。结婚时，他已不年轻了。对这株榕树来说，迈森夫人是屋里的第三者。没过多久，她就得了以前从未得过的好几种怪病，怀孕后，她得了严重的中毒症，大夫费尽心机也没能保住胎儿。幸好迈森隐隐约约猜到了原委，把榕树移到温室里，夫人的病很快就好了，还生了个大胖儿子。有个圣彼得堡妇女，到我认识的一位医师那里看病。她老是无缘无故地情绪低落。原来，她家有一面墙上挂满了紫露草。这种植物尽管同室内景物很相配，但同绝大多数悬垂植物一样，容易令人心情沮丧。我们建议她把墙上的紫露草剪短，而且不要让它长得过长，她的情绪就不再消沉了。 榕树和其他某些植物不仅可能跟人难&相处&，跟猫等宠物也很合不来。
　　从&北大仓&到&北大荒& (生态危机源于人)
　　黑龙江省广袤的黑土地上正在经历又一次历史巨变。到2010年，这里将有3000万亩耕地和荒山重新变成茫茫林海，而这恰好与半个世纪以来，我国在昔日&北大荒&上开垦出的3000万亩耕地面积相吻合。 20世纪50年代，这里是荒原茫茫，人烟稀少，森林茂密，沼泽遍布，野兽出没林间，百鸟低空飞翔。&棒打狍子瓢舀鱼，野鸡飞到饭锅里&曾是这里生态环境的真实写照。新中国成立后，为解决4亿多人的吃饭问题，国家先后组织了十几万部队转业官兵和50余万城市青年来此开发，累计开垦出3000万亩耕地，每年可生产商品粮70亿公斤， &北大荒&因此被人们称为&北大仓&。在一阵改造大自然、誓把荒原变良田的热浪过后，&北大荒&的林地面积和湿地减少了一半多，原始生态遭到了严重破坏，大自然无情地向人们开出了一个巨额&罚单&：旱涝灾害频繁、江河泛滥、水土流失、风蚀沙化严重，许多野生动物被迫迁徙。面对接踵而来的生态危机和大自然开出的巨额&罚单&，北大荒人明白了一个早该明白的道理：大自然的赐予不是取之不尽的。欲取之，必予之。森林和人类唇齿相依，要尽快改善&北大荒&的生态环境，实现可持续发展战略，除了停止开荒，退耕还林，恢复植被，已别无选择。
　　花草与人 (植物能影响人的身体健康)
　　俄罗斯谚语说：屋里养花，男人离家。这有一定道理，因为家里给花草浇水上肥的，一般是女主人，花草就把她同积极因子联系在一起。而男人对花草一般不感兴趣，有时还祸害它们，在花根上摁灭烟头，把花盆当烟灰缸使，引起花草反感。它们当然不会对你骂娘扇耳光，但释放有害化合物是它们的拿手好戏。有几种仙人掌会释放出生物碱，而大脑对生物碱会有反应，产生嗜酒念头，因此这些仙人掌可能使贪杯者变成不可救药的酒鬼。西红柿可能成为你失眠的原因，如果你把西红柿植株放在卧室里过夜，又忘了给它浇水，它就会释放&清醒剂&，&提醒&你它渴了。在居室植物中，对男子最不利的是常春藤，容易加剧失眠的有虎尾兰、常春藤和玫瑰，容易使人心绪平静的有天竺葵和老鹳草。家里养植物，就要照料爱护它，经常对它说些亲切问候的话，让它心绪良好，它就会投桃报李，令你心旷神怡。
　　伦敦烟雾事件 (工业化的恶果)
　　～8日，一场灾难降临了英国伦敦。地处泰晤士河河谷地带的伦敦城市上空处于高压中心，一连几日无风，风速表读数为零。大雾笼罩着伦敦城，又正值城市冬季大量燃煤，排放的煤烟粉尘在无风状态下蓄积不散，烟和湿气积聚在大气层中，致使城市上空连续四五天烟雾弥漫，能见度极低。在这种气候条件下，飞机被迫取消航班，汽车即便白天行驶也须打开车灯，行人走路都极为困难，只能沿着人行道摸索前行。由于大气中的污染物不断积蓄，不能扩散，许多人都感到呼吸困难，眼睛刺痛，流泪不止。伦敦医院由于呼吸道疾病患者剧增而一时爆满，伦敦城内到处都可以听到咳嗽声。仅仅4天时间，死亡人数达4000多人。就连当时举办的一场盛大的得奖牛展览中的350头牛也惨遭劫难。一头牛当场死亡，52头严重中毒，其中14头奄奄待毙。2个月后，又有8000多人陆续丧生。这就是骇人听闻的&伦敦烟雾事件&。当时持续几天的&逆温&现象，加上不断排放的烟雾，使伦敦上空大气中烟尘浓度比平时高 10倍，二氧化硫的浓度是以往的6倍，整个伦敦城犹如一个令人窒息的毒气室一样。可悲的是，烟雾事件在伦敦出现并不是独此一次，相隔10年后又发生了一次类似的烟雾事件，造成1200人的非正常死亡。
　　沙尘暴能净化空气 (大自然的自我疗伤)
　　沙尘暴作为我国目前严重的气象和环境灾害之一，往往为人们所深恶痛绝。近来，有专家谈到沙尘暴对于地球环境也有着功不可没的贡献，大家忽略了沙尘暴对于人类贡献的一面。 目前环境化学家、海洋生态学家、大气物理学家们一步步勾勒了沙尘暴的另一副面孔，沙尘暴作为一种自然过程给全球生态系统带来了好处，把富含生物生长必需的多种营养成分撒开去，恩泽广阔。 据悉，亚洲沙尘暴每年把上千万吨的沙尘从中国西北和蒙古国等干旱地区倾出，洒到太平洋，给大洋中的生物带来一场营养丰富的盛宴。近来研究者还发现，每当爆发沙尘暴时，中国北方、日本、韩国等地的酸雨危害都有所减弱。 现在一些科学家也认识到，想阻止全球变暖的步伐，沙尘暴应该是功不可没的。 专家建议，从自然的发展观点来看，不要强加给它任何东西，当土质是荒漠的，就一定要是荒漠，因为地球上实际上有43%的旱地，人类不可能改变这个现实，大家认为在沙漠里种树或种草，沙漠就能变成绿洲，实际上这个想法是欠科学的。地球上的万物是一个自然循环系统，应该&还自然以自然&的道理，不要给沙尘暴强加内容。
