一、考试对象与目的本考试对象为民生学院非英语专业本科生，旨在考核其本学期的英语学习是否达到了预期的课程要求，同时为民生学院的大学英语教学的实施及评估提供依据。
二、考试总要求考生应深刻理解《新视野大学英语》读写教程第三册课文内容，熟练掌握并运用读写译课堂重点讲述的词汇及句法结构，牢固记忆课后练习所操练的词汇及词组搭配，了解课后单词列表中的其他单词，并在扩大词汇量的基础上具备一定的综合应用英语语言的能力。
三、考试内容1. 词汇　 熟练掌握并运用读写译课堂重点讲述的单词及词组，牢固记忆课后练习所操练的词汇及词组搭配。 2. 句法结构掌握本册所涉及的基本句法结构， 并能用于解决阅读中涉及的语法问题。 3．阅读理解以教材课文及课后练习的文章难度为依据，考查学生对生词量不超过2%的一般性题材文字材料的阅读理解能力。4. 写作写作测试主要考核学生的产生性语言运用能力，命题给出标题和提纲（中英文皆可），话题涉及学生熟悉的题材及社会生活中的热点话题，如学习、生活、环境、交通等。要求切题，即内容符合提纲，分述或论证时紧扣段首主题句；语言准确通顺，无重大语法错误，时间限定半小时，长度不少于120词。四、试卷形式1. 考试形式及范围&&& 本考试采用客观试题与主观试题相结合、单项技能测试与综合技能测试相结合的形式。
&&& 考试对象为民生学院二年级上学期学习《新视野大学英语》读写教程第三册的非英语专业学生，主要考查阅读、翻译、写作能力和综合运用英语的能力。2. 考试内容及题型　　本考试由四个部分组成：阅读理解、词汇和语法结构、完形填空和写作。 第一部分 阅读理解 (Reading Comprehension) (1) 测试题型　　 ① 本部分由3篇短文组成，每篇短文300个词左右。 　　 ② 每篇短文后有5个问题，考生根据短文内容从每个问题后的四个选择中选出最佳答案。 　 (2) 测试要求 　　 ① 能读懂题材熟悉、难度适中、体裁多样的英文短文。 　　 ② 能掌握所读材料的主旨和大意。 　　 ③ 能了解和辨认说明主旨大意的事实与细节。 　　 ④ 能根据具体句子的意义理解上下文的逻辑关系及所指关系。 　　 ⑤ 能根据所读材料的事实进行归纳和逻辑推理。 第二部分 词汇和语法结构(Vocabulary and Structure) (1) 测试题型　　 ① 本部分由词汇用法题和语法结构题组成，共30题，其中词汇用法题约占70% - 80%，语法结构题约占20% - 30% 。 　　 ② 考试题型为多项选择题，每题有四个选择项，要求学生根据题中提供的语境，从中选出一个最佳答案。　　 　 (2) 测试要求 　　 ① 具有对覆盖《新视野大学英语》读写教程第三册教材中的全部词汇进行准确识词和辨词的能力。 　　 ② 能正确运用常用词汇、短语及基本语法和句型。 　　 ③ 能根据语境对高频词进行搭配运用。 第三部分 完形填空 (Cloze) (1) 测试题型此部分分为填空和选择填空2项：①选择填空：给出一篇题材熟悉，难度适当，约180个词的短文。文中留有20个空白，每个空白为一题，每题提供四个选择项。填空项一般为结构词和实义词。　 ②填空：从课文中选出一段短文，文中留有5个空白，每个空白为一题，每题1分。 (2) 测试要求　　 ① 考生能在全面理解内容的基础上，选择一个最佳答案，使短文的意思和结构恢复完整。 　　 ② 本部分主要测试学生整体运用语言的能力。 第四部分 写作（Writing）评分主要从内容和语言两方面综合评判。首先着眼于所要求的内容是否得到表达，是否达到交际的目的，文不对题，言之无物的作文应判为低等；语言主要从准确性和流畅性角度判分。避免过于注重语法的倾向。该项标准分为15分。评分标准分为五个档次：15-13分、12-10分、9-7分、6-4分及3-0分。3. 分值和考试时间　　本课程期末考试满分为70分，考试时限为100分钟。 五、成绩构成教学评估体系包括形成性评估和终结性评估两种。目的是充分考核学生实际使用语言进行交际的能力。
