About This Game
Unturned is a sandbox game in the emerging multiplayer apocalypse survival genre. Rather than focusing on being an MMO it provides players with easy systems to sit down and survive the zombie infestation with their friends. Over the course of a typical adventure, groups will have a blast fortifying locations, scavenging for supplies, trying to live off the land and negotiating with other people. The game is being developed entirely with the community in focus, and tons of features are based entirely on feedback:
Fortification:
Players can build massive forts out of structural building blocks, or build onto smaller buildings in the world with barricades. It is also possible to create traps and intricate electronic systems. More options for building are constantly being added based on what the community requests.
Survival:
It is entirely possible to live off the wilderness by harvesting trees and rocks, growing crops and hunting animals down. What sort of survival stuff is added is entirely decided by the community.
The game goes where the community wants it to. The initial release map is set on the lovely Prince Edward Island, but over the next few months many more locations will arrive for players to explore depending on what the community wants to see. Currently the island has plenty of interesting locations to discover and loot.
Bandits:
Players can choose to enter player versus player servers and battle other players to steal their gear. Banditry is highly supported with plenty of weapons and sneaky devices.
Heroes:
Players can join player versus environment servers to team up with other people, and easily create clans to play with their pals.
Early Access:
This is the first public release of the game, but new features and content are constantly getting added as a result of community feedback. You can see how far the game has come with the help of the community since the original testing prototype:

TL;DRThis game is a great sandbox survival game where you can construct houses, kill zombies, scavenge for supplies, store the stuff you find and in multiplayer modes, fight against or with other players for supplies and survival. The graphics are not the fanciest that can be found out there, but it's because of the pure and unique style this game has. A moderately complicated crafting system is also present. If you like survival MMOs, this game is for you. There's also a singleplayer mode for a more peaceful experience.1. The Actual ReviewWhen I downloaded this game, I wasn't really expecting much, especially because my brother recommended it and most of games he likes, I don't. But it was a huge blast when I noticed how complex and how challenging this game actually is, especially in multiplayer modes. You can carry both a primary and secondary weapon (in the beta version 3.0, which is way better than 2.5), which are basically a rifle/shotgun/assault rifle as a primary and a melee/pistol as a secondary weapon. You can also find clothes, helmets, backpacks, food, water, and did I say HELMETS?! and many more items that will help you to survive longer by providing more space to carry more items, healing and protection.
2. Pros and Cons
Pros- Hug- De- Difficult to survive when you- In multiplayer, you will actually do anything not do die because the death penalty is high (this can be a con for some, but I really love games where you are actually afraid of dying);- The dev takes good care of the game and updates frequently with new content and fixes (about 3 times a week);- G- You can Cons- The community is generally friendly but can be annoying depending on- Singleplayer gets very easy and bo- The beta branch of the game sometimes experience a few game-breaking glitches that are, most of times, solved quickly.3. Personal Experiences &Second day playing multiplayer, naked, because I died&Some guys who like to play as cops at stratford point guns at me complaining I'm commiting a cr&I get a death penalty&A mysterious sniper takes down the tree guys from a distance and I leave the place alive&Mysterious sniper turns out to be a guy with a farmer's hat and military gear&He gives me some food, water and orders me to carry a few things for him&Minutes later, after helping him out a bit, I find a swiss knife and hide it from the mysterious sniper&Fearing he will kill me after I have a considerable amount of stuff, but no weapons and that he's using me as a packmule, I backstab him in the head&get all his gear and he comes at me, naked and carrying a rifle a few minutes later&Rek him again10/10 would rek the mysterious sniper again&After one week and recently dying, I have a supressed sni&I see a group of 3 full-geared guys with nightvisions and r&I take one out with a headshot and the others try to hind behind a tree, but they're still&I take the other two guys out and start being called aimbot by the whole group&They start to say in the world chat where they died&as I'm taking their gear, a guy that barely has clothes hits me with a sledgehammer in the head twice and I die&I respawn and go desperately try to retrieve my stuff&Give up when I notice there's about 15 players fighting for the loot with snipers, grenades and assault rifles10/10 would start a war againThere were many other epic moments that I wish I could tell, but my review will get too long! Do get the game if you like this genre and don't get very mad when you die!

Super great zombie smacking survival fun!... and, it's completely free!It's a bit like many other early access zombie game you see here on Steam, but this one is actually entertaining! Here's why:+ Smooth gameplay+ Nice enviroments+ Large variety of weapons and other items+ The sound of hitting a zombie is the most satisfying thing ever+ A well-designed crafting and experience system+ Character customization + You can choose between &Bloody& and &Peaceful& (if there is blood or not)+ CARS!!!+ And ooh, did I already mention that it is FREE? ;)Well, not really absolutely completely free, you see, you can buy a Gold Premium Access thingy, that allows you to get more customization, play on Gold-only servers and give double EXP and loot drops. Five dollars for that may sound like too much, I don't know, but it supports the developer (who, in fact is a 17 year old programmer. Yeah, he did it all by himself. What an awesome guy! :D)I'd rate this game 9/10, and am eagerly waiting for future updates. Keep 'em coming Nelson! :)

Ok I am new to this review thing so I'll try to make it short and sweet without boring you.
UNTURNED (Preview)
The game where you don't really need to work hard but you &do& need to work hard because there's always those new kids who ran across a load of equipment and got it taken away by you but then there's those who know how to play better than you and they take away &your& new stuff :). Really great gameplay for a free game, but others may say different. I myself and a lot of others would say it's not always the graphics that make a game great, but that it's the gameplay and storyline and all the little things that draw your attention like workshop items which include a lot of things like maps, guns, clothes, vehicles, etc. It has the feel to Dayz but Minecraft at the same time and is playable to those who could only dream to play big survival games because lack of the funds to be in the big league gaming computers, but other than that lets go to the Pro's and Con's.Pro's:
-Gameplay of the game and flow.
-Workshop compatibility and simplicity of use to those who want to start producing items to those who professionally produce items.
-Ability to jump right into a server or game and get destroyed by a kid younger than yourself. Doesn't take much to play well.
-A well made group system to keep and eye on your team and foil your plans to smash your friends, that is unless you have a grenade. :P
-Constant new updates and content added weekly or daily keeping the game interesting and open to optimization.
-Overall fun and competitive sport with friends and the community.Con's:
-The occasional kid or &adult& who thinks he/she is a professional gamer or game reviewer, who thinks their thoughts are everyone's and that because the game is blocky, and not sculpted from the microscopic level, it is a terrible game and shouldn't be supported. -_-
