话说上周日，英国埃塞克斯的鲍伯·马丁报警说，他19:00在Earls Hall Drive看见一只“好大好大的猫”，他觉得“一开始就觉得这肯定是一只狮子”。而且，有图有真相不是？还真有人照了照片！放大看呃，这是狮子吗？反正人说肯定就是，而且说他们用望远镜看过了，这大猫正在舔自己的毛。马丁还说：“一开始我们觉得它耳朵不太像，但是这么大个儿，绝逼是狮子，他还有个白色的肚子，太特么像了！”好吧，既然你说是，那就是呗。于是埃塞克斯警察出动了大量武装警察（嗯就是你在蝙蝠侠里看见的那种）和直升飞机，对整个区域进行了搜查。呃你说警察为啥不找专家？他们找了，专家说照片质量太差，看不太清楚，不过不太像是狮子。但当地居民很害怕，他们还说：“我们听到狮子吼了，好可怕好可怕。”所以警局一共出动了25人，而且动物学专家随时待命，在寻找脚印。同时，当地动物园也开始对自己的存活进行清点。另外，警局甚至还找到了当地的马戏团，人说：“俺们木有狮子。”在搜索了24小时之后，警方叫停了行动——因为连狮子毛都没找到……不过目击者马丁先生坚持称：“俺绝对看见大猫了！”好吧，一位警方发言人随后称：“我们相信周日晚上的那只动物应该是一只大家猫，或是野猫。”（新闻来自BBC和卫报，具体人名可能不准，求原谅）-------------好吧其实在这事儿出来以后，twitter上的英国网友自娱自乐，说他们绝逼看见狮子啦！！真相如下：

The hunt for the puma began in a small village where a woman picking blackberries saw ‘a large cat’ only five yards away form her. It immediately ran away when she saw it, and experts confirmed that a puma will no attack a human being unless it is cornered. The search proved difficult, for the puma was often observed at one place in the morning and at another place twenty miles away in the evening. Wherever it went, it left behind it a trail of dead deer and small animals like rabbits. Paw prints were seen in a number of places and puma fur was found clinging to bushes. Several people complained of ‘cat-like noises’ at night and a businessman on a fishing trip saw the puma up a tree. The experts were now fully convinced that animal was a puma, but where had it come from? As no pumas had been reported missing from any zoo in the country, this one must have been in the possession of a private collector and somehow managed to escape. 贪吃的小狮子（转）
狮子妈妈养了一只小狮子。&这是一只十分贪吃的小狮子，他不管什么东西都吃，而且连嚼也不嚼就一口吞下去。
&一天，他看到一只蚂蚱在草地上蹦跳。
狮子上前，二话不说，就把蚂蚱囫囵吞下去了。
小蚂蚱在狮子肚子里跳迪斯科，而且唱着自己编的歌，越跳越起劲。
小狮子受不了这样的折腾，就去找妈妈。
“谁叫你贪吃，谁叫你吃东西嚼也不嚼，要收拾这只蹦跳的蚂蚱，你得吞一只鸡下去。”&
于是，贪嘴的小狮子不得不吞下一只公鸡。
公鸡到狮子肚子里，
“笃”的一下就收拾了小蚂蚱。小狮子可高兴了，它把这个好消息告诉了妈妈。
可是小狮子一张口就“喔喔喔——”地叫了起来，把妈妈吓了一大跳。
这当然是肚子里的鸡在叫。
于是，贪吃的狮子不得不吞下一只狐狸。&&
狐狸到了狮子肚子里，“啊——唔”一口就吃掉了公鸡。
然后，狐狸就在狮子肚子里蹭痒痒。狐狸一蹭，狮子忍不住“咯、咯”地笑一阵。
这样的笑是很难受的、小狮子笑得眼泪直淌。
于是，贪吃的狮子不得不吞下一头小牛。小牛到了狮子肚子里，“啪”的一下就用角挑死了狐狸。
得意的小牛一晃脑袋，一对牛角戳破了狮子的肚皮。小狮子的肚子两边，各伸出一只牛角。
这可把狮子爸爸和狮子妈妈吓坏了。
他们找来一把锯子，花了整整两天，才把一对戳在小狮子肚子外面的牛角锯掉。
最后还是聪明的狮子爸爸想出了好办法。&
他把自己喝的一瓶白兰地酒，“咕嘟、咕嘟”全灌进小狮子的肚子里，小狮子醉了，他肚子里的小牛也醉了。
据说：小狮子睡了整整两个星期，才把肚子的小牛消化掉；&&
据说：小狮子从此再也不贪嘴了；&&
据说：小狮子以后碰到贪嘴的伙伴，就把这故事讲给他们听&&
