1 Do you want a cup?
句中的a cup后面省略了of coffee。英语中的动词主要有及物动词和不及物动词两大类，及物动词的后面要有名词或名词性短语做宾语。like和want都是及物动词。
2 Yes, I do.
是一种简略回答。完整的回答是：Yes, I like coffee.句中的do是助动词，用来替代动词，常用于简略答语中。
3 black coffee是指不加牛奶或咖啡伴侣的咖啡，加牛奶的咖啡叫white coffee。
4 Do you want one?
句中不定代词one是指biscuit，以免重复。

一、一般现在时的用法：
1.什么时候用一般现在时呢？
答：①表示经常反复发生的动作或存在的状态，例如：
I get up early every day.我每天早起。
I leave home for school at 7:00 every morning.我每天早上七点离家去上学。
②表示客观真理、客观存在、科学事实。例如：
There are 24 hours in a day.一天有24个小时。
2.一般现在时的谓语部分是怎么构成的？
答：一般现在时用动词直接作谓语，而不用像现在进行时那样用am,is,are+动词现在分词，或者一般将来时那样用be going to+动词原形哦。例如：
I like coffee。我喜欢咖啡。
3.一般现在时的形式：
第一种： I+am....
动词为be↗
→He (She,It)+is...
↘You(We,They)+are...
↗I(You,We,They)+have....
动词为have →She(He,It)+has...
第三种：↗I(You,We,They)+动词原形...
动词为行为动词：→He（She,It）+动词原形....
4.常跟一般现在时的连用的时间状语有 哪些呢？
答：every...,sometimes,at.....,on Sunday
5.do助动词是怎么回事？怎么用？
答：由于一般现在时的谓语部分是由动词直接表述的，所以很多时候会遇到同一个麻烦，那就是把句子变成疑问句或否定句的时候，没有直接的助动词。例如： I go to school every day.我每天都上学。句子中的动词词组是go to school直接作了句子的谓语，它是一个实义动词词组，不是助动词，所以呢不能直接提前变疑问句或加not变成否定句式哦。因此，要把这个句子变成疑问句或否定句时候，必须加上一个助动词，而在这种情况下可以加的助动词只有do类助动词。例如：
I go to school every day.----&变成：Do you go to school every day?否定句：I do not(don't) go to school every day.
二、名词如何表示一类事物？
1.某些复数名词前省略定冠词，表示一类人或事物。例如：
They are teachers.他们是教师。
Women always like uncomfortable shoes.女人总喜欢穿不舒服的鞋子。
2.某些抽象名词前省略定冠词表示一类事物。例如：
I like coffee.我喜欢咖啡。
Water is important to us all.水对我们大家都很重要。

(be—is, am, are) 说明目前的状态或一个事实，疑问句和否定句在be本身起变化。
--His sister is a nurse.--Am I your best friend?--Mr. Black and his wife are not in the kitchen.--What’s in the box?--Who’s in her room?2. 主语 + 动词（习惯性动作或事实等）
1）除单数第三人称外的代词（I, you, we, they）, 以及复数名词（her parents, the boys etc.）+ 动词原形
--We watch TV at night. 我们在晚上看电视。
--They want some boxes. 他们想要一些箱子。
--I live music very much. 我非常喜欢音乐。
--Her sons go to bed at 9 o’clock every night. 她的儿子们每天晚上九点上床睡觉。

2）单数第三人称代词（he, she, it）单数名词（the student, Mike etc.）+ 动词（s/ es）

--The doctor drinks coffee coffee every day. 这名医生每天都喝咖啡。
--His grandfather lives in Shanghai. A:‘do’用在当复数名词作主语或第一、二人称及第三人称复数代词作主语的句子中。疑问句在句首加“do”即可。
--They want some sugar. 他们要一些糖。
--Do they want some sugar?--Yes, they do.--No, they don’t.B：主语是单数名词或单数第三人称代词时，变成一般疑问句，用‘does’,后面的谓语动词要用原形
