other 是形容词，其他的。 the other 是指两者中的另一个 another 是三个或三个以上的另一个 the others 是指剩余的所有 other places 其他的地方he is the other boy of the twins.他是双胞胎中的另一个。i will give you another apple.我会再给你一个苹果。some of the students are playing football.the others are reading in the classroom.一些学生在踢相关信息。其余的人在教室读书。
another只能用语泛指的单数，即非特指的另外一个对象（三个以上中的任意一个）。如：another student（泛指另一个学生，单数）
other则可用语...
两者之中的“另一个”用 三者之上则用 another.
