interesting 形容词，用来修饰物 e.g. the film is interesting.interested 形容词，用来修饰人 e.g. I am interested to hear your story.通常，-ing后缀都是用来修饰物的，翻译为令人...的。例如 surprising 令人惊奇的。-ed后缀是用来修饰人的，翻译为感到...的。例如surprised 感到惊奇的。此外，还有很多这样的词：embarrassing/embarrassed, worrying/worried, amazing/amazed, shocking/shocked 等等。只要知道这些词动词形式和后缀的意思，就很容易的指导这些词的意思了。 interested是由动词interest加-ed所构成的形容词,意为“感兴趣的”,所构成的常用结构为be interested in,主语一般是人。interesting adj. 有趣的,感兴趣的在句中作定语或表语. 它主要表示 '某物是有趣的', 直接表述某物的趣味性如,It's an interesting story.This story is very interesting.Watching such a football match wasn't interesting at all.It was boring.看这样的足球赛一点趣味也没有.它令人厌烦.interested adj. 令人感兴趣的在句中只能作表语,不能作定语.它主要表示'某人对某物感兴趣'.常用的词组是be interested in.如,The boy is very interested in playing computer games.这个男孩对玩电脑游戏很感兴趣.She got so interested in learning English that she could speak to foreigners soon.她变得对学英语如此感兴趣,不久她就能跟外国人交流了.

interesting是&主动&形容词,即用于修饰人或事物本身如The cat is interesting.而interested是&被动&形容词,即表示人或事物被赋予的意义,如I am intereated in the book bought yesterday.
interest 可做动词，意为：使……感兴趣

　　interested:&都可作形容词用。Interesting指有趣的、令人感兴趣的。Interested&指感兴趣的，主语通常是人。事实上，这一类使动用法的动词都有这样的特点。加-ed一般都表示感到……;加-ing则表示令人……的。类似的有&&satisfy等等。
interest:可以作动词，也可以作名词。
