  1987年毕业于化工系,
  1990年获硕士学位后留校工作,
  年到留德预备部学习一年德语,
  年在德国国家生物技术研究中心进修访问两年,
  1999年-2000年在清华大学生物系进修一年生物化学课程,
  2000年8月获生物化工博士学位。
  1990年3月参加工作,
  1997年被聘为副教授,
  2002年评为教授,
  2003年聘为博士生导师。
  年在德国国家生物技术研究中心(GBF)进修两年,
  2006年10月-11月在英国牛津大学继续教育部参加辽宁省高校学科建设负责人培训班,
  月在德国汉堡工业大学作高访。

  主要研究方向包括:
  (1)生物质能源:用化学法或脂肪酶法制备生物柴油,用中药残渣、木质纤维素制备乙醇,生物制氢等。
  (2)生物基化学品:生物柴油与1,3-丙二醇的联产工艺,生物转化制备1,3-丙二醇、2,3-丁二醇、乳酸、琥珀酸等,菌种的等离子体诱变、分子定向进化,产品的分离提取。
  (3)天然药物:水蛭素的化学修饰,丹酚酸B的提取工艺,生物转化制备白藜芦醇和薯蓣皂苷,海参、鲍鱼等加工废弃物的高值化利用技术。
  (4)计算生物学与生物:酶催化机理、蛋白或酶与配基或药物间的作用,微生物代谢工程,生物转化动力学,生物转化过程优化与分析。
