Information for Guests with Children
Due to the design and the general layout of our Water Bungalow, Water Villa, Water Suite and Ocean Villa children below the age of 12 cannot be accommodated in these room types. Children above the age of 12 are allowed when staying with a parent (maximum of 2 pax per room including child).

Currency Fluctuations
For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.  Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card.  Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.

The resort is just a short 20 - 25 minutes speed boat ride away from Male' Airport.

Transportation is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The cost for the combined roundtrip transfer service from/to MLE International Airport is 136 USD per person.
Please note that all speedboat transfers are subject to weather conditions and may not be able to operate in extreme weather.

New Green Tax Beginning November 1, 2015
Beginning November 1, 2015, a new Green Tax of 6 USD per day per person will go into effect. This will be in addition to the 10% Service Charge and the 12% Goods and Services Tax.
Mandatory New Year's Eve Dinner:

There will be a compulsory New Year's Eve dinner supplement for all guests staying over or arriving on December 31, 2015. The rate is 308 USD per adult and 154 USD per child ages 2 to 11. This will be automatically added to the room bill. Please contact the resort for further information.

Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid photo identification). Alcohol must be consumed within the resort area.
The following items are prohibited in the Maldives and will be retained at customs upon arrival: religious materials offensive to Islam, idols for worship, pornographic materials, narcotics and psychotropic substances, arms, alcohol and spirits, pork and its byproducts, dogs, and dangerous animals.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting service is available upon request with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. Fees apply.
Check Cashing Policy
The resort does not offer check cashing services.
Connecting Room Policy
Requests for connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking due to limited inventory.
Credit Card Policy
All major credit cards are accepted except Diners Club.
Dress Code
Due to Maldives' tropical climate and resort location, smart or casual wear is acceptable throughout the resort. However, footwear is requested to be worn in all restaurants. In addition:
Swim suits must be covered in all restaurants
Wet towels or clothing are not permitted in any restaurants
Early Departure Policy
Early departures will be treated as cancellations and will result in a 100% cancellation fee for all remaining accommodation dates.
Early Arrival Policy
Early check-in between 8am and 2pm will be subject to room availability at the time of arrival and cannot be guaranteed. In case of early arrival before 8am, an additional night must be pre-booked to secure room availability.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds are permitted in the Island and Beachfront Cottages only. A maximum of one rollaway bed is allowed per cottage. Fees apply.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 11 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.
Occupancy Policy
All the accommodation including the Beachfront Deluxe, Water Bungalow, Water Villa and Ocean Villa can accommodate a maximum of 2 persons. No extra bed can be added in the room due to space constraints.
For families with children, the suitable choices of accommodations are the Island Cottage or the Beachfront Cottage. We allow a maximum of two adults and two children per room. Only one extra bed can be placed in these cottages.

Payment Policy
The resort accepts cash payments in U.S. dollars and euros only. Additionally, foreign currency exchange is available at the resort for major international currencies. Due to rules established by Maldivian banks, the resort is not able to accept USD notes from the 1990s or any note that is damaged (e.g., torn, dirty, pen marks). The resort does not accept traveler’s checks.
Transportation Resort Charge Policy
The resort will arrange combined speedboat transfers to and from Male International Airport. Guest will be charged a transportation fee of 110 USD per person. The fee is subject to a 10% Servcie Charge and a 12% GST Tax. International Flight details are required to arrange transfers.
Cooking Policy
Kindly note that cooking in guest accommodations is strictly prohibited for health and safety reasons. Resort management reserves the right to apply a fine.
Smoking Policy
Please note that smoking is not permitted indoors in any of the accommodations. Smoking is permitted on the outdoor terraces or balconies of the villas. Smoking is also permitted in designated public areas within the resort.
