1998年获法国费加洛仕女杂志专题评选为台湾九位杰出女性之一，同年亦获选为年度菁钻大章。2003年亚洲华尔街日报也评选夏姿为台湾最具代表性之时尚品牌，2004年印度尼西亚最具权威的时尚杂志dewi专文介绍来自台湾的夏姿服饰，该年英国伦敦金融时报亦以巨幅报导夏姿为年度当红时尚品牌之一，为品牌国际化更上层楼。
王陈彩霞认为，东方设计若欲在西方时尚舞台占有一席之地，首要之务为突显自身品牌的特色，因此，在每一季融入中国文化的意念与元素，便成为SHIATZY
CHEN经典风格。同时她也坚信，除了坚持设计理念与创意之外，还要应合国际潮流，注入当代时尚美学，赋予服装新的生命力，品牌精神方得以屹立长青。
